今月、私の自慢の娘の結婚式が東京の青山迎賓館でありました。
美しいウエディング姿でした。
親の不思議な感情ですが、いくつになっても娘は娘ですね！
This month my beloved daughter got married at the Aoyama Reception Hall, in Tokyo.
It was a beautiful wedding.
For a parent, a daughter is always a daughter, no matter how old she is.

７月３１日「世界武道祭」を観戦するため沖縄へ行ってきました。
最高師範 東恩納先生にご挨拶をさせて頂き光栄に思っております。５段以上で世界６０数ヵ国から１０００人を超える生徒が集 まった大変大き な大会でした。
先生の体からでている”暖かいお心”に、お弟子さんだけでなく私も感じることが できました。
また、酒井師範の「古流合気道」（inishieryu aikido)も拝見させて頂き 素晴らしい演武に心打たれました。
On the 31st of July I went to Okinawa to see the World Budo Sai 2016 (World's Martial Arts Gathering). I was honored to greet the famous teacher Higaonna. This gathering was attended by more than 1.000 people from 60 different countries, everyone owned at least the 5th Dan level.
This famous teacher transmitted his passion not only to his students, but also to everyone else, including me.
I also saw Aikido performed by the teacher Sakai, in his Inishie style.
It was a great experience to witness all these Martial Arts at this high level.

７月３０日、友人の剛柔流沖縄館 外間館長が空港まで迎えにき て下さり
その後、道場に向かいいい稽古をみせて頂き、そして空手の原点とも言える「丹 田」に ついて午後９時３０分まで丁寧に教えて下さり勉強になりました。 翌日は一緒に首里城を観光、そして世界武道祭へ・・・空港まで送って頂きまし た。１泊での初めての沖縄でしたが充実した沖縄でした。 （外間ちゃん、ありがとう！）
On the 30th of July my friend Hokama from Goju-ryu in Okinawa came to greet me at the airport. We went to the Dojo and I observed the lesson. After that we had a thorough discussion about the Tanden (lower of the three dantian), which is said to be the origin of Karate, until 9:30 in the evening.
The following day we went together to visit the famous Shuri Castle and then we headed towards the Budo Sai.
At the end of my stay, he even took me back to the airport. It was my first time to stay overnight in Okinawa and it was great.(Hokama, my friend, thank you!)
