着物の展示会に行ってきました。玄関に作られた日本庭園。そして梅と桜です。
女性が着る着物の帯にはこのような刺繍がされて華やかさをかもし出しています。
I went to a kimono exhibition.
Japanese garden at the entrance. Plum and cherry trees.
The obi (sash) worn by this lady is embroidered.
I found it exquisitely elegant and beautifully made.

審査会Judgment

今日は夙川道場の審査会でした。
それぞれが与えられた審査項目を家で練習してきた努力がみえ、お蔭でいい審査会になりました。
お疲れ様でした。

初代彦根藩主「井伊直政」公と彦根城.1６２２年築城。外観も美しい！
敵の来襲に鉄砲や弓矢で防戦するために、お城の内側に作られた狭間。

The first Hikone Daimyo "Ii Naomasa" and the Hikone Castle, dated from 1622. It's beautiful from outside too.
The inside of the castle is very narrow to protect from enemies attacking with guns and arrows.
